Collaborating in the Weirdness

“If you just collaborate in the weirdness, it’s all gonna work out.”

I couldn’t agree more! What an amazingly fun and touching day with Girl Scouts of Nassau County, New York, teaching a workshop on empathy and improv comedy! These Long Island kiddos know how to use their funny bones and empathy muscles. I am so proud to bring my work back to Girl Scouting–the organization that taught me about compassionate leadership. I don't think my Girl Scout self at their age could imagine where the journey would lead me!

I'm always amazed at every training because the desire to collaborate is strong inside every human being, no matter their age. Improv provides an amazing channel for this, and a peek into how we can be better leaders and collaborators in real life too.
